Punjab University College of Information Technology

Computer Science is the discipline concerned with the design, implementation, and maintenance of the computer software systems used in almost all other professions. For this reason computer science graduates must be well-grounded in the technologies required for the acquisition, representation, storage, transmission, transformation, and use of information in digital form and must be capable of working closely with members of other professions associated with computing. This curriculum of the program provides a broad and deep knowledge of the theory, design, and applications of digital computers. It also allows students to choose the area in which they have their particular interest to obtain a deeper understanding of the domain so that they can implement novel ideas in their professions. Specialization will be offered to meet the future needs of the Industry.
